Agitated without a cause
The work of Grzergorz Kmin.
A concert is playing outside, a block away from my room, and the voices of a hundred drunks resonate against my sealed windows.
It is one of those nights when all thoughts and feelings are in absolute shamble, synapses explode and signal transductions collide. And you feel like a ticking time bomb because nothing seems to be able to make the budding insanity within externalized into coherent and sane manifestations for those around you to understand. And it is tiring to make sense or trying to do so constantly.
Like smashing grey matter onto a wall.

nice post, very well worded. i like how it goes with the artwork sort of. I checked out that website, his stuff is very dark and disturbing (kind of like salad fingers) but still beautiful. For some of the pieces, it's hard to believe it's a drawing/painting. I like how everything is whispy and scratchy, gaunt and thin, with amazing colours.
man, such a "formal" comment..
yah, the artist is fucking awesome...and i've always had a penchant for the gaunt and thin look in people/figures...
as for the entry... what can i say, those nights do happen.. who knew... when drawing, eating, drinking, smoking, swearing, turning-off-the-lights-to-listen-to-music-alone-lying-in-bed seem to fail...blogging apparently comes to the rescue. well. not really.
it helps to sleep it off.
sorry want me to be more informal next time? I was just really talking how I normally talk, it wasn't supposed to be like dry and devoid of emotion or anything
yeah i like the paintings that involved trees of some sort, i have a thing for old rotted looking trees that are all knotted and wispy like some of his paintings, especially when the crows were around that one tree and it kind of looks like pieces of the painting dissolve and blend into birds in the background....it shows up in a couple of them. now i'm rambling.
oh yeah you might like the tool video for Prison Sex, also the guy who does a lot of artwork for tool...
damn i can't find the exact site, one is
http://www.psythos.com/
and another is http://www.alexgrey.com/
look at the early works part very strange since he was a kid, the sacred mirrors part..you could spend like two days on this site. he seems very spaced out and spiritual, but maybe he knows something we don't. it's still very interesting though
and one is ramiro rodriguez but none of his tool paintings are up on his site, and the ones that are there are kind of less than impressive. still really good, but i mean he had a ton more amazing pictures, i don't know where they are
http://www.ramirorodriguez.com/
enjoy!
cool. i'll check those pages out.
your liking to trees reminded me of this image: http://www.deviantart.com/view/22576661/
My friend Ozvaldo Ramirez has amazing prints (with trees of some sort) that you might like.
actually, i'll upload two. you'll see.
sorry the pics are really bad quality, but check them out anyhow:

excellent. that first picture you uploaded was exactly what I was talking about, same with that deviant art page tree/head thing. exactly like that. i had a weird sense of deja vu with that deviant art page, i must have linked to it from your site like last year or something.
thanks for the pictures. it's nice to be stimulated, artistically
